The international music and arts festival “LABA DABA” will take place from July 17 to 19 at the University of Latvia’s leisure complex “Ratnieki” (Cēsis Municipality, Līgatne Parish). Ticket sales have begun – tickets are available at www.labadaba.lv and www.lolo.id. Music, art, and family togetherness, celebrating summer in nature.

For the fifteenth time, the festival “LABA DABA” invites you to a weekend where culture and nature celebrate summer together – featuring concerts and performing arts, cinema and workshops, conversations and movement, and amidst all these events, a true summer holiday feeling. It is a place to meet long-unseen artists, attend a show together with children, watch a short film marathon, explore the nature trails of Ratnieki, spend the night in an apple orchard, or dance barefoot in the morning dew. “LABA DABA” is the only large-scale, family- and eco-friendly music and arts festival that takes place outside the urban environment, offering a getaway in nature with a wide spectrum of programming moods in the beautiful territory of the Gauja National Park.
The lineup features more than 100 music and art events: concerts, special collaborative musical projects and DJ sets, theatrical plays, dance and performances, poetry readings, cinema, creative workshops, sports games, a craft market, masterclasses, and the "Garden of Living Dreams" (Dzīvo sapņu dārzs). The musical program will span a wide range of genres, from alternative rock, punk, and reggae to electronic and experimental music, as well as singer-songwriters and choirs. Quite often, artists collaborate to perform in sets specifically tailored for the festival, appearing in unprecedented lineups and soundscapes.
The festival will take place across five stages, with a schedule that can be followed throughout the entire event. The main musical highlights and several international guests will traditionally gather on the “Bear” (Lācis) and “Hedgehog” (Ezis) stages, while the electronic music program will be hosted on the “Raven” (Krauklis) stage. A program of theater, dance performances, and art actions is scheduled in the barn, also known as the “Dog” (Suns) stage. The film program will take place in the “Cinema Hall” (Kino zālīte) in collaboration with the Riga International Short Film Festival “2Annas”, screening a specially curated marathon of thematic short films. In the central square of the festival, the LR6 – LU Radio NABA stage and live studio will operate for 36 hours, bringing live broadcasts, interviews, and festival coverage directly to the airwaves.
“LABA DABA” continues its affordable ticket policy and family-friendly terms, offering ticket categories for teenagers and students. As usual, admission is free for children under 13, and accommodation in the campsite is available to all ticket holders at no extra charge. The lineup of Latvian artists and foreign guests will be announced gradually; the stage schedules and the range of parallel activities will be updated regularly. For the latest information, visit www.labadaba.lv and the festival's social media channels. We will announce the first artists in March, but until then – a "super friendly" ticket price is available.
