The international music and arts festival “Laba Daba” has revealed its next 15 musicians and acts. This summer, from July 17 to 19, the festival will take place at the University of Latvia’s leisure complex “Ratnieki” in the Gauja National Park. Boasting a vibrant and diverse musical program, the festival will celebrate its 15th anniversary this year.

Joining the previously announced 2026 music lineup are 15 more musicians, bands, and ensembles: Reinis Jaunais & Daniele Mammarella (Italy), Abeneko & The Positive Mind (Tanzania), “INGAJA” (Lithuania), “Tante gaida”, Jēkabs Nīmanis & Elīza Dombrovska, “Stūrī zēvele”, “Oranžās brīvdienas”, “Tavas māsas nāsis”, “Pienvedēja piedzīvojumi”, “Zōna”, “Mighty Jupiter & The Mooncake Band”, as well as the University of Latvia choir “Dziesmuvara”.

The previously announced homegrown acts include “Hospitāļu iela”, “Aparāts”, “Nesen”, Evija Vēbere & Ivars Arutjunjans, the Strazdumuiža Brass Band, “Dzelzs vilks”, “Trīsas”, “DJ Krankenwagen”, “Nakts ārāji”, “Inokentijs Mārpls”, “Saucējas”, “Sun Horse”, “Zeme dunn”, “Aptiekas bēru ansamblis”, Imants Daksis & “Dīvainās pasaules gaisma”, alongside “Alum Alu”, who are preparing a special festival program featuring collaborations with other performing artists.

This year’s festival program features more than 100 music and art events, including live concerts, DJ sets, theatrical performances, dance, poetry readings, cinema, creative workshops, masterclasses, sports activities, and a craft market.

The festival will unfold across several stages, each offering a distinct program:

  • The “Bear” (Lācis) and “Hedgehog” (Ezis) stages will host the main musical events and international guest performances.

  • The “Raven” (Krauklis) stage will feature the electronic music lineup.

  • The “Dog” (Suns) stage (the barn) will be dedicated to theater, dance, and performance art.

  • The “Cinema Nook” (Kino zālīte), in collaboration with the Riga International Short Film Festival “2Annas”, will screen specially curated short films.

  • The LR6 – LU Radio NABA stage will double as a live broadcasting studio.

Alongside the music and arts, the festival grounds will feature a creative zone, hands-on masterclasses, and a vibrant craft market.

“Laba Daba” is one of the most family- and eco-friendly music and arts festivals in Latvia, traditionally held away from the urban rush in the scenic Gauja National Park. This year, the organizers continue their accessible ticket pricing policy, offering discounted tickets for teenagers and students. Children under 13 enter for free, and access to the campsite is included with all festival tickets at no extra cost.
